Rational Approximation of Noisy Frequency Responses

چکیده
Vector Fitting is a robust technique for transfer function synthesis in the frequency domain. This method combines the use of a Sanathanan-Koerner iteration and a well-chosen partial fraction basis. It is known that its convergence properties become impaired if the data is contaminated with noise, which results in poor fitting models. In this paper, an alternative approach is presented, and its performance is compared to the classical formulation.
